EVANSVILLE, IN, May 7, 2024—Leadership Everyone (LE) reflected on another successful year of engaging with regional servant leaders and fostering community growth during its Annual Meeting on May 7, 2024 at Bosse High School.
Throughout the evening, LE reflected on the work accomplished in fiscal year 2023-2024 by its staff, volunteers, and board. They presented Regional VOICE data, made public a new, interactive dashboard, and announced project workgroups in a Reveal in September; LE continued work at Bosse High School, taking 4 staff and 117 students through leadership development sessions and, through partner organizations, building a new chemistry lab and renovating the greenhouse; 109 servant leaders were nominated for the 29th Annual Celebration of Leadership; and 75 people from across the region attended Community Leadership Program retreats at the Barn Abbey in New Harmony.
Alumni of the Year Awards were presented to LE volunteers Lauren Devine and Dana Rust, both of YMCA of Southwestern Indiana. “Lauren and Dana are our most dedicated retreat volunteers,” said Miller Pease. “The two of them absolutely love LE and are the first to sign up to help out. And they bring so much joy to LE! We are so grateful to have them with us!”
The event also served to recognize the year’s Community Leadership Program graduates and Bosse seniors who completed full-day leadership development sessions. In addition, Officers and Board Members were elected for the 2024-25 fiscal year.
